IMI's Leadership, Faculty and Staff

IMI's team of engaged faculty and staff are a community people dedicated to transforming thinking to solve the hardest problems facing people, their communities and societies globally.  Our community comes together to build leaders, create new knowledge, and work towards solving the world's wicked problems. 

IMI Leadership

IMI's leadership team draws from a range of visionary faculty members with innovative and strategic approaches to program development, leadership and mentorship.  

IMI Faculty

IMI's 19 faculty are leading researchers and educators in their fields, with expertise ranging across disciplines.  From urban mobility to sustainability, from biotechnology and digital health technology, from accounting to social entrepreneurship and innovation, our faculty contribute publications, give invited lectures, teach at the graduate and undergraduate lecture, and serve on committees. With 45 affiliated faculty, IMI's research and teaching ecosystem casts widely across the University of Toronto, with connections in the UTM Department of Management, the Rotman School of Management, Biology, Economics, Chemistry, Sociology and more.

IMI Affiliated Faculty

IMI's faculty members work across and within disciplines to produce world-class teaching and leading research.  This community draws from diverse disciplines, including all areas of management, chemistry, biology, communication, technology and more.

IMI Staff

IMI's staff support the IMI Programs and Hubs, including six professional graduate programs, three research clusters, executive education, an incubator, and research networks.  Staff members are skilled practitioners with a range of expertise, including student support, graduate administration, finance, operations, events, communications and more.

IMI Postdoctoral Fellows

IMI's postdoctoral fellows work closely with our faculty in conducting research across disciplines.

IMI Adjunct Faculty

IMI's adjunct faculty teach in our professional graduate programs, bringing industry expertise into the classroom.
