Being a student comes with varying thoughts, feelings and emotions which is why as a Registered Psychotherapist I embrace the mantra that we can break through fear and live audaciously.

My therapeutic work focuses on fostering emotional well-being and personal growth. I’ve had the honour of being trained in evidence-based therapies and providing compassionate support for individuals facing diverse challenges.

My therapeutic techniques are positively influenced by my intersectionality and lived experience as an immigrant black woman and I am committed to creating a safe and nonjudgmental space that influences holistic empowerment. The modality of my practice includes but are not limited to: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Behavioral Activation, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness Practices, all of which I approach from an integrated mindset.

Things I love

Spending time with my family and friends, sharing stories filled with laughter, watching crime drama TV shows, restoring old furniture, traveling and immersing myself in new cultures, and last but not least, taking care of my plants and gardening in the summer.
