Why UTM? I chose UTM for its strong Commerce program, supportive campus community, and opportunities to grow both academically and personally as an international student. 

What are you involved in on campus? I am currently working and have worked as student staff with the following departments:

• International Education Centre
• Student housing and Residence Life
• Academic Integrity Unit

I am a pro on this UTM topic: Navigating life as an international student and balancing academics with involvement on campus.

A course you succeeded at/most interesting course you’ve taken at UTM? One of the most interesting courses I've done so far is ITA235 (Italian Food and Culture)!

What is your favourite event you’ve attended at UTM? Orientation events! Experiencing it as a new student in my first year and as student staff the next couple of years has truly been amazing.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to prospective students about studying at UTM? Don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone and get involved. It’s the best way to make friends and discover new opportunities. 

What are your future aspirations after you graduate? I plan to earn my CPA designation while building a career in accounting in Canada
