Theatre & Drama Studies Audition
Eligibility & Registration
Only students applying to the Theatre and Drama Studies program should register for an audition.
The audition for the Sheridan portion of the Theatre & Drama Studies program is weighted equally with your academic entrance average. Once you apply and have received your U of T applicant number, schedule your audition and pay the $60 audition fee. Auditions will be submitted online and reviewed in March. Any callback auditions will occur in late-March or April.
Audition registration for 2022 has not yet opened.
Your audition and interview, plus the documents you fill out and submit with your audition, constitute your application to Sheridan College. All auditions are to be recorded by you and submitted electronically.
You will receive an e-mail from Sheridan in mid-late February, outlining how to access the submission portal. Please be sure to check your e-mail (including your junk/spam folders) regularly within this time frame for this additional information. These emails will provide you with additional information about the submission process.
In addition, be sure to thoroughly read each of the audition documents found in the audition scheduler.
We are looking for actors who demonstrate:
- Passion and purpose
- Focus and physical freedom
- The ability to listen and receive
- An active imagination
We thank all of you for your passion and commitment and we wish you the best with your auditions – Break a leg!
