Professor Lobalsamo will discuss Italian-Canadian foodways, past and present, in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. As well as highlight her UTM-based team's digital archive and mapping initiative - a project that aims to preserve the cultural imprint of Italian Canadiana across time and across spaces.

Giving in Motion: Health and Wellness Challenge

February 12, 2021 – March 12, 2021, via Zoom

Our mission is to bring UTM students together to engage in a Health and Wellness Challenge and collectively reach 2000 Community Points. For each point, you earn towards improving your healthy mind, body and soul while connecting with others. A donation will be made on your behalf to support vulnerable local families and to build a school dormitory for girls in Uganda.

How to Participate:

Participate on a team or by yourself & commit to 20, 30, 40 hours of wellbeing, fitness and/ or community service. Earn 1 point per hour of activity. Earn additional points for your team by completing weekly challenges!
