Why did you choose UTM? I chose UTM because of its large selection of art history classes and the opportunity to study in a close-knit and supportive campus environment. I also love the mix of academic opportunities and creative experiences it offers.
What are you involved in on campus? I’m a UTM Library Ambassador, which means I represent and volunteer at the library.
I am a pro at this UTM topic: I’m a pro at navigating the UTM campus and finding the best study spots.
A course you succeeded at/ most interesting course you’ve taken: FAH274 - Renaissance Art and Architecture. I loved learning about different artworks and cultural themes during the Renaissance time.
What’s your favourite event you’ve attended at UTM: I really enjoy the Be Well UTM: Resource and Activity fair. It’s a really nice event where you can make small crafts and de-stress.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to prospective students about studying at UTM: Get involved in campus events and groups early on, they’re the best way to meet people and feel part of the community. Don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone, because those experiences will make your time at UTM even more rewarding.
What are your future aspirations after you graduate: I aspire to work in the creative industries, particularly in design and media, where I can combine my artistic background with more commercial approaches.
