A course you succeeded at/most interesting course you’ve taken at UTM:

• POL216 - Canadian Politics challenged me to think differently about political parties, elections, and gender in Canada.

What is your favourite event you’ve attended at UTM? The UTMSU orientation yacht trip! It was a beautiful night where we got to see the CN Tower under Toronto lights and on the water. It was a memorable experience!

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to prospective students about studying at UTM? I have two :) Get involved early, it’s the best way to meet people, discover your passions, and make UTM feel like home. Also lean on your support group, you can’t do university alone!!

What are your future aspirations after you graduate? I’m going to law school and will continue to create pathways for Black youth in Canada to access education and fair opportunities.
