Yinnon Geva

Yinnon Geva (PhD, Geography, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, ’21) is an Assistant professor at the Institute for Management and Innovation, teaching in the Master of Urban Innovation program. His research examines the various intersections of real estate and social policy, with a special focus on non-market housing development. Much of his work examines the non-market housing ecosystem in Toronto in a global context, focusing on non-profit and public sector capacity building, alternative financing instruments, and formation of inter-sectoral development partnerships. His other areas of interest include non-profit organization studies and equity aspects of development, e.g., state-led and infrastructure-led displacement.
