Biography

Ashita Allamraju is a Postdoctoral Fellow at IMI. She is an economist and researcher with an extensive experience in both academia and consulting. She holds a PhD in Energy Economics from the University of Hyderabad, India. In her doctoral thesis, she modeled fuel choices in India across rural and urban households and examined the energy transition. Her current areas of interest include corporate sustainability, ESG strategies, quantification of emissions and strategies relating to reducing emissions.

Prior to joining IMI as a Post-doctoral fellow, she was a faculty at Bennett University in Delhi, and the Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad.
