Work Study Positions
The work study program provides eligible students with an opportunity to work on campus during the academic year and gain experience. Many departments use this program to hire UTM students during the Fall/Winter and Summer terms.
Research Opportunity Program (ROP)
The Research Opportunity Program (ROP) provides students in 2nd, 3rd and 4th year with a unique chance to participate in a faculty member’s research while earning course credit. This program (housed within the Experiential Education Unit) can help you with building practical skills and knowledge that can be used in the workforce and/or towards future graduate studies.
Student Organizations

- Learn about the Co-Curricular Record (CCR), which can help you find opportunities beyond the classroom and have your skills and experiences captured on an official document.

- Learn more about experiential learning opportunities offered through the Experiential Education Unit (EEU) such as Community-Engaged Learning (CEL) and the UTM Co-op Internship Program (UTMCIP)
