As a student, chances are you’re completing an internship or you’re considering one. This type of work is common, as it provides many benefits to students carving their own career path.

Those who completed an internship during their degree were 13 percent more likely to find full-time employment over those that did not, according to a survey at Southwestern University. (See full article)

ICCIT Internships – a Look Back and a Look Forward

As we wrap up the Fall 2018 semester, the Institute is happy to report that CCT410 and WRI410 have just set a new record by having a total of 35 students successfully complete internships in exchange for course credit. The internship courses, which have been around since 2004, have been seeing consistent and exceptional growth in terms of both student enrollment as well as employer engagement. Looking ahead to January 2019, there are approximately 50 more students signed up for the next offering of these courses.
