What Is the UTM Community Marketplace?
The UTM Community Marketplace is an internal, university-only space where UTM faculty and staff can post items they no longer need or browse for items they want.
Think of it like an online exchange, but built just for us — to promote sustainability, foster connections, and support campus needs.

How It Works
The UTM Community Marketplace is for UTM staff and faculty looking to post or claim department-owned items, including furniture, lab equipment, electronics, and more.
Before posting an item, you must obtain approval from your department chair or business officer. Only departmental items should be listed — not personal items — and all listings must follow the university’s procurement policies.
All items are for donation only. Buying or selling is not permitted on this platform.
To get started:
- Request access by submitting a ticket through the UTM I&ITS Service Portal.
- Once approved, you'll receive an email invitation to join and use the app in your browser.
- The Digital Workplace Services team is available to provide a 30-minute demo and assist with onboarding.
