The UTM Sustainability Office is proud to partner with faculty members across the University of Toronto on experiential learning opportunities.

Courses with experiential learning aim to bring together faculty members, students, staff, and/or external partners to collaborate on developing sustainability projects.

Students have an opportunity to contribute to the university’s sustainability goals, and greater community and city priorities.

These experiences allow students to gain real-world experience in the classroom setting, working on projects that address current challenges both on and off-campus.

Courses we have participated in include:

  • ENV 440 Professional Experience Course

  • ENV1103 Campus as Living Lab

  • ENV 332 Practicum in Environmental Project Management

  • ENV 496 Restoration Ecology II

  • MUI2055 Cities Industry and the Environment

  • SSM1090H Capstone Course - The Sustainable Enterprise
