Jacob Gallagher-Ross and his co-author Miriam Felton-Dansky have won the Modern Drama Outstanding Article Award for their essay “Interface Theatre: Watching Ourselves Disappear” (Modern Drama 67.1 [March 2024]: 1-24) — an essay that also received an honourable mention for the Association for Theatre in Higher Education

University of Toronto Mississauga alumna Lindsey Middleton is bringing small-town stories to the screen with Cows Come Home, a new comedy series premiering June 11 on Bell Fibe TV1.
Co-created with Katie Uhlmann, the six-episode series draws from Middleton’s roots in rural Ontario, where she grew up showing calves at county fairs.

Maryam says:
"Creative writing has been my quiet constant, a space to pause, reflect and breathe meaning into moments. While my biology major teaches me to understand the body, my biomedical communications minor helps me visualize it, writing invites me to feel what it means to live in one.
