About Us
Welcome to the International Mentorship in Academics and Canadian Culture (IMACC) Program at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM). Our program is dedicated to assisting international students in navigating the challenges of university life in a new country. At IMACC, we prioritize the holistic development of our students, helping them build the skills, knowledge, and confidence necessary to actively engage in both their UTM and Canadian communities.

Eaint (Evelyn) Paing is studying Technology, Coding and Society, and Geospatial Data Science. She enjoys sports, spending time outdoors, meeting new people through networking and conferences, and playing guitar.

Afeefa Muskan is studying Biology and Psychology. She enjoys travelling, painting, drawing, calligraphy, crocheting, and writing.

Viola Liu studies Finance, Economics, and Global Leadership. In her free time, she enjoys photography, listening to music, and cooking and baking for her loved ones.

Elif Sude Yasar is studying Computer Science and Statistics, and enjoys cats, ice skating, volleyball, and photography.

Dana Adhis is completing a PhD in Earth Sciences, and loves nature walks, stargazing, and photography.

Aleena Mahveesh is pursuing a Double Major in Psychology and Biology. She enjoys painting, crocheting, and playing badminton.

At the same time, the vibrant student community and numerous events ensure there’s always something exciting to get involved in. Sarah Binte Sayeed completed her undergraduate studies with a Major in Anthropology and Minors in Psychology and Forensic Science, and is now completing a Master’s in Anthropology. She enjoys painting and reading.
