Notice and Process for Parking Violations

Please be advised that the City of Mississauga issues penalty notices (parking tickets) under the Administrative Penalty System (APS) for most parking violations on the UTM campus. Accessible parking tickets will continue to be managed through the Provincial Offenses Court. For more information about APS, please contact the City here.

 

Parking on the U of T Mississauga campus is enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

 

Any vehicles parked in a designated space or lot other than that for which the displayed permit/pass was issued, will be tagged and/or towed at the owner's expense.

 

The tagging and towing of vehicles, parked in violation of [the current U of T Mississauga Parking] regulations, will be performed by officers empowered to issue municipal parking tickets.

 

UTM has no authority to revoke a City of Mississauga parking infraction ticket. Ticketing issues must proceed through the normal court system.

  • Municipal parking tickets are payable to the City of Mississauga.
  • Fine are set by the City of Mississauga.

  • Vehicles towed by the City of Mississauga will be released upon payment of towing and storage charges. These rates are set by the City and are liable to change without notice.
