About the BBA at UTM
In the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), degree-level expectations are designed to support students in developing the advanced competencies required of a university graduate while encouraging them to think ambitiously and push beyond conventional limits. Students will demonstrate both breadth and depth of knowledge, engaging with diverse perspectives while progressively building expertise in their core areas of study. They will develop a strong understanding of relevant methodologies and the ability to select and apply appropriate analytical tools to investigate complex business problems.
In line with these expectations, students learn to apply knowledge critically and creatively, formulating questions, evaluating evidence, and generating well-reasoned solutions that account for broader social and ethical contexts. They will also communicate ideas clearly and effectively to varied audiences, while recognizing the limits of their own knowledge and the uncertainty inherent in complex decision-making.
Ultimately, the BBA prepares students to exercise autonomy, professionalism, and ethical judgment - equipping them to become reflective, responsible, and forward-thinking leaders ready to make meaningful contributions in dynamic and evolving environments.
