MGT480 Internship Program – University of Toronto Mississauga
Access emerging talent to support your business needs
The MGT480 Internship Program connects organizations with senior business students from the University of Toronto Mississauga.
From January to April, each student completes 100 hours of unpaid work (8 - 12 hours per week) as part of their course requirements, with ongoing support from a faculty member and the Internships Coordinator.

- Specialized Skill Sets - students are in their final year of study, specializing in accounting, finance, human resources, management, and marketing. Students bring advance coursework, technical skills, and fresh approaches to business challenges.
- Project & Operational Support – interns can assist with:
- Accounting & Finance: reconciliations, expense tracking, budget support, financial analysis, financial modeling
- Marketing: market research, event planning, social media promotion, graphic design
- Human Resources: recruitment support, onboarding materials, employment engagement initiatives
- Management: project coordination, business development, administrative support
- Talent Acquisition – identify and evaluate potential future hires in a real-world setting
Program Details
- Duration: January–March (100 hours total, 8–12 hours/week)
- Structure: Unpaid, for academic credit
- Supervision: Internship supervisors complete two brief online evaluations (midterm and final) and a short midterm check-in call with the Internship Coordinator.
- Students will take part in a competitive job search process, with candidate selection taking place in the fall
