By using the OZZI system we are able to eliminate traditional disposable take-out containers from our supply chain by replacing them with OZZI reusable containers!
STEP #1
Get your token
Drop by our office (DV 3127) to pick yours up, today!
STEP #2
Order your food
Order your meal & drop your token into the green OZZI piggy bank
(of course, wait until they can see you!)
STEP #3
Eat your food
Enjoy your meal!
STEP #4
Return your container & get a new token
Once you’re done, return the container to the OZZI machine (one located in Colman Commons & one located outside the Davis Food Court in The Meeting Place)
Scan the barcode on the bottom of your container, drop your dirty container in to the machine, & get your token for next time!
A true zero waste program
OZZI containers are so sustainable that once they're worn down, we simply ship them back to the company and they melt down the #5 plastic and remake reusable cutlery, to avoid anything going to the landfill. That's 100% recyclable, and what we call a sustainable closed-loop system leaving no waste at any time through the lifecycle!
More sustainable than a compostable option
- OZZI containers are 100% BPA free plastic
- OZZI products are all made in the USA
- With each container reaching up to 300 uses, recyclable becomes greatly more sustainable than a compostable option

Lost your Token?
Please visit the Hospitality & Ancillary Services during business hours to get a new token. You will need to pay another $5 deposit to re-enter the program.
OZZI Machine Issues?
Please contact mail.utm@utoronto.ca. Include which OZZI machine you had issues with (in the William G. Davis building or Colman Commons in Oscar Peterson Hall) and what the issue was. You will receive a response to your request within one business day.
