Accessibility Services is recruiting volunteers to provide on-campus support for students with disabilities. Volunteer Support Assistants will support students by:
- Providing assistance and support with navigating the campus.
- Ensuring accessible furniture (i.e. height-adjustable desk) is properly arranged in the classroom or lecture hall.
- Assisting students with setting-up their laptop and/or retrieving materials from their bag at the start of class.
- Meeting with students after class to assist with putting away their materials.
Letter of Reference
Volunteers who complete their commitments are eligible to receive a reference letter at the end of the term.
