Professor Jessica Burgner-Kahrs selected as one of 2021’s “50 women in robotics you need to know about” by RoboHub

Jessica Burgner-Kahrs, Associate Professor, Director of Continuum Robotics Lab and Associate Director of University of Toronto Robotics Institute has been chosen as as one of 2021’s “50 women in robotics you need to know about” by RoboHub, a non-profit online communication platform that brings together experts in robotics research, start-ups, business, and education from across the globe. Each year RoboHub selects a representative selection of inspiring women in robotics with the goal of providing a role model for women of all ages and career stages, from as many parts of the world as possible.

Professor Burgher-Kahrs is an award winning researcher focusing on continuum robotics and in particular on design, modeling, planning, and control, as well as human-robot interaction. She was selected as one of 100 Global Young Leaders by WEF.
