The MCS Mental Health Task Force is currently composed of 4 members* that are determined to support the mental health and well-being of our MCS faculty and staff and in so doing, indirectly positively impact students. Inspired by the mission of the Okanagan Charter, the purpose of this Task Force is to raise safety and health awareness, support MCS faculty/staff in reporting and managing critical incidents, and ensure that faculty/staff have access to up-to-date resources and training. The goal is to ensure that we are proactive as a unit in supporting the needs of our community regarding their mental health and well-being.

*The committee membership should ideally include one CSC, MAT, and STA faculty member, respectively, and one full-time MCS staff member. A 2/3 majority for faculty is acceptable.
