Graduate Studies

The Department of Chemical & Physical Sciences' (CPS) graduate programs are offered through the School of Graduate Studies and the graduate departments corresponding to each of the disciplines encompassed in our interdisciplinary environment. Each CPS faculty member is also appointed with the graduate departments (housed on the St. George campus); however most conduct their research and teaching activities at UTM. Entrance and graduation requirements are identical across all University of Toronto campuses.

Scholarships and Awards:
Each discipline will have graduate awards and prizes within their graduate department's offerings. However, in addition, University of Toronto Mississauga and the Department of Chemical and Physical Sciences has graduate awards (Travel grant, Computer grant, etc) available to all graduate students affiliated with the campus. CPS Perks:
The Department of Chemical and Physical Sciences (CPS) will provide up to $2,500 per student in funding to support graduate student travel to attend and present research results at academic conferences. Click here to know more about this perk.
