Student Groups and Academic Society Partners

Collaborate with the Career Centre!

Here's how we partner with Student Groups & Academic Society Partners on campus:

Event & Workshop Partnership

Partner with us to bring impactful career programming to your group. From customizable workshops to co-hosted events like panels or networking sessions, we provide content and support while your group helps shape the experience. Collaborations offer students valuable skill-building opportunities, professional resources, and a chance to connect with employers and peers.

Promotional Support & Outreach

Whether through social media, co-tabling, or workshop tie-ins, we help you connect your members with valuable career supports while promoting your initiatives to students attending our events. Opportunities include Career Centre 101 presentations for your members, co-promotion of relevant events, resource sharing, and collaborative outreach efforts.

Connect with Employers

The UTM Career Centre is here to support student groups as they design and implement events with employers. We can assist you in reaching employers of interest, vetting employers for engagement and offering events to your members.

Winter 2023 partnership

The most valuable part of this partnership for us was the opportunity to guide our students' group in their career development. Working with the UTM Career Centre allowed us to stay connected with the university and stay informed about the latest career trends and opportunities.
