UTM CC100 Career & Work Readiness Program Banner

This 12-week career program is designed to build your confidence, skills, and career clarity for the future. As a cohort-based program, it offers a collaborative learning environment where you can explore your career interests and develop a personalized career and job search plan. You’ll gain valuable employability skills with the support of the Career Centre team, mentors, and your peers, and benefit from working together in a supportive space as you take important steps toward your goals. Whether you're just starting your degree or approaching graduation, it's never too early—or too late—to begin your career journey.

 

At the end of this program, you will gain:

 

Experiential Learning – Gain Poster Presentation, Employer Engagement, Data Analytics, and Public Speaking Experience.

Exclusive Event UTM CC100 participants will host a reverse career fair with employers  and alumni.

Early Access to Career Fair –  Priority access to connect with Employers.

Co-Curricular Record (CCR) Recognized

  • Commitment – You will be required to dedicate 4-5 hours weekly to get the most out of the program. Students must attend 9 out of the 12 session, including 6 mandatory core sessions.
  • Select the format that suits your need: Winter term — Begins 2nd week of classes virtually on Mondays (11am to 1pm), in person on Tuesdays (2pm to 4pm), or participate in a three-day Reading Week intensive –  February 17 to February 19.(9:30am to 4pm).

When can I register for the Fall? 

Current intake is for 25-26 Winter

 

When can I register for the Winter? 

Registration will open on October 20, 2025 for the winter term and the deadline to register will be:
Winter CC100: Tuesday, January 6, 2026
Intensive cohort: Sunday, February 8, 2025

When does the program start? 

The first day for the  session will be Monday, Jan 13  for in-person and the Intensive will be held during the reading week from Feb 17 to Feb 19.

 

I would like to register but I don't have a resume?

It is ok if you don't have a resume. Please visit our Resume & Cover Letter Resources page to prepare one for submission. However, if you have an resume but it is not up to date, that is ok. Submit and we can work with you to make your resume stronger.

What is the commitment for this program?

  • How often: Offered every Fall and Winter with three options each term—attend virtually on Mondays 2pm to 4pm, in person on Tuesdays 2pm to 4pm, or participate in a three-day intensive during Reading Week – February 17 to February 19. Begins 2nd week of classes.
