We invite employers to enhance their recruitment strategy by hosting a Pop-Up booth at the Students Services Hub, which is in a high-traffic area on campus. This is a unique opportunity for your organization's representatives to engage directly with a targeted number of students, promote your career opportunities, and strengthen your employer brand.
Why Participate?
- Interactive and Informal Engagement: Showcase your organization and available positions in an engaging way that captures students' interest.
- Direct Networking: Connect with students to identify potential candidates who demonstrate strong professional and interpersonal skills.
- Increase Brand Awareness: Strengthen your presence on campus and attract top talent from the top-ranked Canadian university on graduate employability*
Pop-Up Details:
Your Pop-Up booth can be set up for up to 6 hours, i.e. 9 am to 3 pm with the high traffic expected between 11 am to 2 pm, and the cost is $200+HST for up to six representatives. This fee includes:
- A table for your pop-up.
- Two reserved booths on either side of the pop-up will be used to have direct conversations with students.
- A large foam board poster to promote your organization.
- If required, we can add further options upon discussion with our Employer Engagement team to make this a unique experience for your organization and our students.
Pop-Up Promotion:
We’ll help amplify your visit through various channels, including:
- Social Media Announcements: We'll promote your presence on our platforms to reach a wider audience.
- Print Posters: Eye-catching posters will be displayed around campus to draw attention to your booth.
- Digital Promotions: A digital rotation promoting your upcoming pop-up booth across our TV screens on campus.
- Large Foam Poster Board: A prominent foam poster will highlight your organization and career opportunities, ensuring maximum visibility.
This is a fantastic way to create a lasting impression on potential candidates and showcase what makes your organization a great place to work. Don’t miss this chance to connect with the next generation of talent at U of T Mississauga!
Timing
We recommend scheduling your session between September to mid-October, January to mid-February. However, your recruitment timelines will best determine the timing of your visit. We are taking requests and planning for September 2026 programming at this time.
