Academic courses in this program provide opportunities to develop the following types of skills. Make a career counselling or an employment strategy appointment to discuss how you can demonstrate these skills to employers.
- Critical Thinking: Critically read, edit and assess media and various forms of communication, applying theoretical knowledge to practical environments.
- Oral / Written Communication: Effectively convey information and concepts, with an ability to adapt communication to suit diverse audiences and purposes (i.e., business writing, proposals, speeches).
- Research & Analytical: Gather, evaluate and synthesize information from a range of media sources.
- Technical: Familiarity with various technologies used to draft, create and revise multimedia projects and experiences.
