Academic courses in this program provide opportunities to develop the following types of skills. Make a career counselling or an employment strategy appointment to discuss how you can demonstrate these skills to employers.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze and synthesize scientific information to make evidence-based decisions with intellectual curiosity.
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze and interpret biological data using statistical software and other analytical tools.
- Oral / Written Communication: Effectively convey complex scientific concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, in both written and verbal formats.
- Research: Conduct field studies, literature reviews and lab experiments using specialized laboratory/field equipment & procedures in adherence to ethical guidelines.
