Bio

My name is Reta Bodagh and I am a graduate of the MBiotech Program, class of 2022. I specialized in Molecular Biology for my undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto. My love for all-things science led me to undertake various research opportunities and pursue a Master of Science, focusing on anti-cancer therapies. Intrigued by all the possibilities of innovative medicine, I wanted to broaden my horizons and learn more about the pharmaceutical industry. So, I pursued the MBiotech Program which offers a unique blend of science and business and an unmatched network of professionals in the biotechnology space. I started my industry journey at Roche as a Policy and Market Access Intern. In this role, I broadened my understanding of government relations, healthcare policy, and the value of innovative medicines. I then transitioned to the medical team at Roche, working as an Evidence Generation Associate and later, Evidence Operations Manager. In these roles, I contributed to the design and execution of real-world studies in Alzheimer's disease, oncology, and ophthalmology. Today, as a Patient Services Senior Manager at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, I lead Patient Support Programs (PSPs) across multiple rare diseases. I aim to transform the journey of patients living with rare diseases by combining strategy, operational excellence, and patient-centricity in designing, launching, and maintaining PSPs. I am excited to continue advancing in this exciting sector to catalyze positive healthcare change!
