January 2025 Recap
A number of events took place this month!
Events
We were delighted to welcome many members of UTM to our celebration of the Spring Festival, organized by Dr. Xinliang Jiang and Dr. Rebecca Ren as part of our Chinese Cultural Event series.
Part of the celebration included writing the Chinese characters 福 fú (luck) and 春 chūn (spring) in calligraphy for good luck and fortune in the new year.
We also kicked off the first of our Parlons enseignement et apprentissage! Let’s Talk Teaching and Learning! meetings for students interested in pedagogy looking for engaging discussions in French!

Professor Emeritus Konrad Eisenbichler shared about "The Secret of Bald Island" with the students in ITA255H5 learning about Italian-Canadian history.
