Drupal 9
Here is a list of currently known issues and potential work arounds. Please report issues or feedback by contacting the Service Desk.
- Contextual Edit
- May not be available for some components
- Image Links
- Images or elements nested inside an <a> tag will have conflict with the contextual links in page
- Work Around: Edit content from normal location of content (Content, Custom Block Library, etc).
- Drupal Media in CKEditor
- Alignment
- Alignment of media items in the CKEditor does not accurately reflect the text wrapping
- There will be a note to indicate if it will be aligned
- Work Around: Keep in mind that items aligned left or right will have the text wrap around it. Centred items will have no text wrapping. Save and confirm on the actual page.
- Inline Images
- Currently no way to have media to display inline
- Not so WYSIWYG
- Image size in may not accurately display in editor
- Twitter embed doesn't preview in the editor
- Work Around: Save and confirm on the actual page
- Alignment
- CKEditor dialog styles
- Some CKEditor tools may have style compatibility issues with the admin theme in use
- Resetting terms to alphabetical order
- Unable to perform without elevated permissions
- Searching for blocks to place on a page
- "Filter by block name" function can be finicky. You may still find your block by scrolling down the list of block names and manually selecting your desired block
- Caching
- News Pages will retain taxonomy terms after a term has been deleted
- News lead in image wont appear in a certain size for mobile until the cache is cleared
- Work Around: This will require a manual cache clear. Contact web content support for assistance.
- Please report any other stickiness you encounter.
- Categories
- Special characters will cause category path to lead to 404
- Best Practice: Do not use special characters in category names
- Anchor Link dialogue not working in inline block rich-text editors
- Work Around: Manually add anchors in source. Please reach out to web content support if you need assistance.
