Ran Deng

Ran Deng is a PhD candidate in Comparative Literature at the University of Toronto. She holds collaborative specializations in Women & Gender Studies and Sexual Diversity Studies, and is currently a graduate fellow at the Jackman Humanities Institute. Her research and teaching focus on twentieth- and twenty-first century transpacific literary and visual cultures, sexual and reproductive consent, body politics, and queer aesthetic theory.
