Art and Scholarly Dialogue _ Living Otherwise event poster

Living Otherwise

You are cordially invited to an art and scholarly dialogue series entitled "Living Otherwise: Perspectives on Time, Space, and Sense-Making from Okinawa," co-organized by the JHI working group, "Thinking Infrastructures in Global Asia," the Cheng Yu Tung East Asian Library, and the Dr. David Chu Program in Asia-Pacific Studies.

Through the power of art and dialogue, this event series aims to engage scholars, students, and artists with the question of "living otherwise": What does it mean to live in our times marked by precarity, grief, and violent losses? What enables the possibilities for "living otherwise" – that is, to live in just and relational terms with one another amidst differences and absences?

The starting date of the event series is Monday, March 25. This event series is being held in-person at multiple dates and locations in the John P. Robarts Research Library. Faculty, students, staff, and the public are cordially invited to this event series. Please register to join:  https://forms.gle/3DTNfe2b2PxuH9mP6
