Congratulations to Professor Andrew Beharry for his Promotion to Rank of Associate Professor

A message from Prof. Lindsay Schoenbohm, Chair of CPS:

I am so pleased to announce that Andrew Beharry has been promoted to the rank of Associate Professor. This was a fun first tenure case for me to be involved in! Andrew’s research program is innovative, pushes boundaries, and will have an impact on the treatment of cancer, including chemosensors, photodynamic therapy, and photo-activatable drugs. He has an outstanding publication and funding record, with large grants from the New Frontiers in Research Fund, the Cancer Research Society, and the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada. He was recently recognized with the UTM Research Prize. He mentors a large group of successful graduate students and is a thoughtful and caring classroom teacher as well. Please join me in congratulating Andrew on his well-deserved promotion.
