Bio
Aayushi Rawat graduated from St. Xavier’s College in 2020, with a double majors in Botany and Zoology following which she completed her Master’s in Environmental Science from Fergusson College, Pune. Her exposure to the growing industrialization set in the urban landscape contrasted with the unimpeded view from her native village, paved the way for her growing inquisitiveness into the environmental impairments transpiring.
Amidst her academic pursuits, Aayushi has interned with various Non Governmental Organizations working in the realm of environmental science. She has worked with ‘Swantree’ as an Environmental Journalism Intern, where she produced informatics and articles for the organization. She assisted in identifying areas of interest under sustainability and developed communication skills required to convey technical information in a manner digestible to the public. Subsequently, she interned at ‘CRISP’ where she began as the social media intern for the organization and later was given the role of research coordinator for the organization's website. This role helped in furthering her interactions with people working in the field and gaining variable insights into the realm of sustainability. The amalgamation of experiences at these roles have assisted in providing her a whole rounded experience in public informatics. This she wishes to utilize in understanding consumer behaviour and their perception of sustainability
Aayushi loves spending her spare time being creative, with recently picking up learning the art of embroidery and wants to continue on her journey of mastering the guitar.
