Bio

Aryan is a graduate from the University of Arizona, where he achieved a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree specializing in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Throughout his undergrad, he was involved in several case competitions based around MIS, Sales, Sustainability, and Marketing, from which he learned that great teams can overcome arduous challenges, and that innovation, creativity and curiosity will always help you find your way around difficult situations.

During his senior year of college, Aryan was accepted to one of the top entrepreneurship programs in the United States, McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship, and that’s where his passion for sustainability grew. Along with three other team members, he noticed the disparity in food availability and distribution and the emergence of food deserts in Arizona, which led them to develop a startup called SYZYGY (si-zuh-jee). The basic idea was to take discarded shipping containers, convert them into hydroponic farming facilities, and plant them in food deserts so that locals could have access to healthy and fresh produce that’s affordable and rich in nutrients. Throughout that year, Aryan honed his business skills, learned about the practical significance of sustainability, and how it can be used to uplift and empower overlooked populations.

Over the course of his undergraduate degree, Aryan interned for various companies ranging from Fortune 500 firms to startups. He worked as a transfer pricing intern for PwC where he spent his summer working with clients in Africa and Europe by analyzing large datasets and conducting research to form transfer pricing reports for legal consideration. He demonstrated the ability to be a self-starter and produce high-quality work under tight deadlines while managing several clients at once. Aryan was also selected as 1 of 20 Microsoft Ambassadors in the US, where he spent the Spring of 2020 working towards increasing adoption and activation of their newest offering Microsoft Teams on campus. He was recognized as one of the top performing ambassadors for his ability to seamlessly transition from in-person to a virtual setting due to the COVID-19 pandemic while still delivering consistent results and high engagement with his marketing campaigns. Upon graduating, Aryan moved back home to India where he joined a SaaS based startup, CredFlow, as a Product Marketing Associate where he got to work closely on upcoming products and new features. Through his role he formed and oversaw the content & social media marketing plan for the startup, developed new product features and devised solutions to improve existing ones. This aided him in honing his leadership and professional skills while adapting to new situations and challenges on a regular basis.

In his spare time, Aryan can often be found trying something new during his self-termed “adventure days” or staying active by hiking, biking, playing badminton or doing yoga. He recently got back from a hiking trip to North-East India where he got to see many beautiful views and waterfalls and indulge in local delicacies. He also enjoys thrifting and upcycling clothes, travelling, reading, and watching live theatre and musicals.
