Using the Program Plans Effectively

  1. Read through all your program plans each year; use the online version as it has links to the services mentioned. If all your programs aren’t listed yet, take a look at similar ones to see the opportunities available to you.
  2. Investigate what appeals to you so you can develop your own program plan
  3. Use the resources and services that are listed; bring your plan to appointments with advisors and counsellors.
  4. Update your plan annually; don’t feel you have to fill it all out in one year, and be prepared to adjust as you learn more about your goals.

UTM has many tools and resources to help you be successful. In addition to your Program Plan(s), here are some useful services and staff to assist you. If you have a question but can’t find the answer, just ask staff and they will help you find what you need.
