Meet Chiu-Hung Chen! She joined the Department of Language Studies in 2018 as an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream in Chinese (Mandarin) Language & Culture Language Studies. Professor Chen's research interests include second-language acquisition and literacy development. She is currently teaching Chinese language, culture, and theoretical issues for the incoming first-year and upper-year UTM students. She is also interested in computer-assisted language learning and keeps up to date on the related technology.
