Empowering First-Year Students!
The Institute for the Study of University Pedagogy (ISUP) offers first-year students courses that focus on developing university-level academic skills and learning strategies that are important for all students studying in any discipline. Our first-year foundational courses are taught by faculty with expertise in student learning and academic skills; including writing, numeracy, research and communication. All of our courses are student-centered, interdisciplinary, and they offer a collaborative classroom experience.
