- The start of the school year in September involves a notable rise in the movement of people throughout the region via various means of transportation. Consequently, this leads to an increase in delays and difficulties.
- It is important to note that scheduled Shuttle Bus times are approximate and subject to traffic, weather conditions, and other related factors. Shuttle bus drivers are working hard to get users to their destination safely and on time and patience is appreciated.
- The UTM Shuttle Bus service operates with a fixed number of vehicles that continually travel between the UTM and UTSG campuses. The current one-way trip time is averaging 60-75 minutes, but can take longer during peak morning & afternoon periods, and during inclement weather. Be sure to plan accordingly.
- For passenger convenience, the FirstView app provides real-time bus tracking. Through its live mapping feature, users can easily monitor the current location of all active shuttle buses, with updates provided every 15-30 seconds.
Typically, ridership tends to decrease by mid-October. However, until then, it is advisable for students, staff, and faculty to be prepared for possible delays, to allocate additional time for their journeys, and consider taking the next bus. The UTM-St. George shuttle operates daily, with service available approximately every 20 minutes on weekdays.
