Practicum in Women & Gender Studies (WGS435Y5)
This practicum allows advanced WGS students to combine theory and practice through part-time unpaid placement with a community agency, government body, educational or social change organization. These have included Interim Place Women's Shelter, Peel Poverty Action Group, Ontario Pay Equity Commission, the People Project, Mississauga Disability Office, Studio 89, Canadian Centre for International Justice and more.
Recommended Preparation: WGS200Y5 and 1.0 WGS credit at the 300-level.
Prerequisite: 3rd or 4th-year status and PI.
