Professor May is interested in the ways race and gender are created and interact to shape people’s lives. Trained as a geographer, he also explores the ways social relationships are formed through interactions in particular spaces, and how those spaces are affected by the people in them. He has taught courses in Geography (GGR313: Sex and the City) and in Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies (WGS353: Theories of Masculinity) at UTM.
