One Million Trees Experience

Two young women planting a tree in the grass

Saturday, May 11, 2019
10:00 a.m. – noon
Sawmill Creek
3606 Sawmill Valley Drive, Mississauga, ON (MAP)

Celebrate the return of spring as alumni, friends and families embrace their inner arborist to help green the City of Mississauga with their goal of planting one million trees by 2032. Planting trees provides beauty and shade, helps improve air quality and adds economic value to all of our neighbourhoods.

Ideal for all ages and skill levels, this tree planting experience will help conserve and enhance the community's urban forest while contributing to an environmental legacy. Show your U of T spirit by wearing blue and white while enjoying complimentary snacks. Rain or shine.

Register online to attend. Spaces are limited.

Parking is available across the street from the park at Sawmill Valley Public School. Please note that washrooms are not available onsite. The nearest washrooms are located at South Common Mall at Burnhamthorpe Road West and Erin Mills Parkway.

All participants must complete this waiver to participate.

Please contact Alumni Relations if you require information in an alternate format, or if any other arrangements can make this event accessible to you.
