Kunyang Fang is a UTM forensics alumni who graduated in 2010. She currently works as an assistant to the Director-General of the Confucius Institute Headquarters in Beijing, China. Prior to starting her current post in 2013, she obtained her master's degree in anthropology from Yale University. Before coming to Canada in 2006, she went to high school in her hometown, Jinan City of China. She is now learning German and enjoys playing piano.
Anthony He, MMPA'05

Anthony He is a Master of Management and Professional Accounting alumnus who graduated in 2005. He currently works as the Head of Market Risk in Arab National Bank in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Prior to holding his current post in 2013, he worked five years in Al Khalij Commercial Bank in Qatar as Head of Market Risk. Between 2003 and 2008, during and after his MMPA study, he worked in RBC Financial Group in various functions including credit and market risks, financial control, global services and product control. Before coming to Canada in 2001, he had worked for five years as a road and bridge structural engineer in China after obtaining his engineering degree from Fuzhou University. In addition, he holds various professional designations, including CPA CMA, CFA, FRM and PRM.
Lee Holmes, HBSc'02

Lee Holmes is an 0T2 + PEY graduate, having specialized in Software Engineering and UTM's renowned Professional Writing and Communications program. Currently, Lee is a Principal Software Engineer working on Windows PowerShell at Microsoft in Seattle, WA. He is the author of the Windows PowerShell Cookbook (O'Reilly), Windows PowerShell Pocket Reference (O'Reilly), and is a frequent speaker at technical conferences and user groups.
Nicole Novroski, HBSc'09
PhD student, UNT Health Science Center

Nicole Novroski is a second year PhD Student in Molecular Genetics under the guidance of Dr. Bruce Budowle at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born and raised in Ontario, Canada and completed her Bachelors Degree in Forensic Science and Biology at UTM from 2004 through 2009. Nicole then worked with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Northern Alberta before moving on to the University at Albany, SUNY to complete her Masters Degree in Forensic Molecular Biology. Following graduation in 2011, Nicole spent some time at the NYC Office of Chief Medical Examiner Department of Forensic Biology as a Criminalist and left in 2013 to pursue her studies at UNT Health Science Center. Her current research focus is in forensic and pharmacogenetics using massively parallel sequencing. When she isn't studying, Nicole enjoys running, reading, volunteering, and spending time back at home in Canada with family and friends.
Christine Uriarte, BA'79

Christine Uriarte is a Senior Legal Analyst and Manager of Horizonntal Projects at the Anti-Corruption Division of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), in Paris France, where she has worked for 15 years. Her main responsibility is supporting implementation of the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention and related anti-bribery instruments by the 41 States Parties to the Convention. She is the subject matter expert in the Division on anti-money laundering and tax issues, and also contributes to work on corruption related to public procurement and state-owned enterprises. Recently she also contributed to the work of the G20. More globally, Christine works on Enhanced Engagement with Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. Previously, she worked on the Asian Development Bank/OECD Anti-Corruption Initiative for Asia-Pacific for 5 years. She coordinated the review of the OECD anti-bribery instruments which culminated in the 2009 OECD Recommendation on Further Combating Foreign Bribery. Before joining the OECD, she was a human rights and criminal legal and policy analyst with the Government of Canada, before which she was an associate with a criminal law firm in Canada. Ms. Uriarte has a law degree from Queen’s University, Canada in 1983, and is a Canadian Barrister and Solicitor. She received her BA from University of Toronto Mississauga in 1979.
