Sabrina Sgandurra

Sabrina Alicia Sgandurra (HBA Toronto Metropolitan University, MA University of Waterloo) is a Strategic Research Development Officer at the University of Toronto Mississauga. Her experience includes grant writing and editing for tri-agency interdisciplinary researchers in the fields of Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science and Engineering, Disability Studies, Social Sciences and Humanities, and Health Sciences. She has worked on several tri-agency (NSERC, SSHRC, CIHR), provincial (CFI), private sector (Unity, Sony), and European grants (Horizon EU), and has been involved in research administration and communication initiatives, project management, and partnership acquisitions and outreach. In addition to her professional background, she is also a current PhD candidate at the University of Waterloo specializing in games studies. Her research focuses on the intersection of oral storytelling traditions in the act of streaming story-focused video games.
