The Urban Leadership eXchange is a new certificate of completion being offered by the University of Toronto’s Institute for Management & Innovation’s IMIx Executive Program, in conjunction with the Master of Urban Innovation program. The University of Toronto's School of Cities is a co-sponsor. Led by distinguished University of Toronto faculty, the 1.5-day program will be hosted at the University of Toronto Mississauga

Deepen Your Knowledge, Build Policy-Relevant Skills

Participants in the Urban Leadership eXchange will gain deeper knowledge and understanding of the ways in which the concept of urban innovation can be leveraged for economic development in the 21st century.

The objective of this program is to introduce, familiarize and train participants to consider the ways in which innovation, technological change and the shift towards a digital economy affords an opportunity to promote positive economic and social change in Canadian cities.

On completion, participants will have a stronger understanding of the need for intentionally designed public policy that supports positive public outcomes and addresses challenges associated with inequality that often go hand in hand with innovation and technological change if left unchecked.
