Star of Lang and O'Leary Exchange to speak at U of T Mississauga
Amanda Lang, co-host of CBC TV’s Lang and O’Leary Exchange, will discuss innovation, curiosity and change on Friday, Nov. 22, 6:45 p.m. in the Recreation, Athletics and Wellness Centre, 3359 Mississauga Rd., U of T Mississauga.
Lang, senior business correspondent for CBC’s The National, will give the keynote address at the Department of Management’s second annual Countdown to Success event. Lang’s lecture, based on her bestseller The Power of Why: Simple Questions that Lead to Success, will focus on how to reignite curiosity at any age to become more innovative and productive.
The event, which will include a trade show and networking reception, is designed to expose students, alumni and professionals to business and networking opportunities within the accounting, finance and management fields. The first 100 attendees will receive a free copy of Lang’s book.
Attendance is free, however advance registration is required. Registration will not secure seating for the keynote address. Seating will be provided on a first-come basis.
The event is sponsored by the Certified General Accountants of Ontario.
