Program for Accessing Research Training (PART)

The Program for Accessing Research Training (PART) is an online program that offers introductory instruction and hands-on experience on a variety of research topics. During your time at UTM, you’ll hear and read about the research your professors, librarians, and other students do and you may wonder, how do I participate in research?

PART provides a glance into what is involved throughout the research process, supports the work you do in your courses, and can give you confidence and help you prepare for an ROP, graduate school, or research more broadly.

PART is open to students in all fields, disciplines, and year of study. No prior research experience or training is required. Students who complete PART can receive up to 3 CCR notations on their university transcript.

How to Participate

Fill out the PART 2023/2024 Registration Form. Once completed, you will receive a link in your utoronto email address to enroll onto the PART Quercus Website. Please contact academicskills.utm@utoronto.ca if you have questions about CCR requirements and PART in general.
