About Me

While I was a Commerce student at UTM, I dreamed of having a consulting career that allowed me to apply my knowledge to help organizations, while enabling me to see the world and become strong financially. I was fortunate to have found that ‘dream’ job for me within the first five years of graduating and I was traveling to Europe every week working as a Consultant, based out of San Francisco.

Today, I find myself in a position that my younger self never anticipated, working in an advising role in my home city. Yet I love this job! My past self would have not considered this position.

Life continually demands that we make choices along the way that can be challenging to navigate without support or knowing how to get what you truly want in life. It would be rewarding for me to help people start their career by sharing my advice and accounts of my experiences, to enable them to succeed on their own path.

  • Dania has worked as a Strategic Advisor for the City of Mississauga, and she is currently the Manager of Customer Experience & Innovation at MiWay. She leads three teams at the division (Internal Communications, Customer Service, and Customer Experience) to deliver the customer success programs that improve internal culture and the external customer experience.
  • Prior to this, Dania was the Regional Operations Manager for London Life / Great West Life for five years
  • Previously, she was at Deloitte for seven years, first as a Senior Accountant / Auditor and then as a Strategy & Operations Consultant
  • As a Strategy & Operations Consultant in San Francisco, Dania specialized in business transformations in the high tech industry
  • Dania has over 13 years of experience in business operations, financial planning & analysis, with experience in leadership, analytical, and consulting roles.
  • She has experience living and working in San Francisco, London (UK), Amsterdam, Davos (Switzerland) and Toronto
  • She volunteered as a Consultant to support small start-ups and grow the local economy in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania; in Mexico, Sri Lanka and India to promote goodwill and support local issues, such as providing clean drinking water with Rotary International. She received Rotary's highest honour for individuals - Rotary's Service Above Self Award
  • Past President of the Rotaract Club of Mississauga and Toastmaster City Centre Club
  • Facilitated Business, Leadership & International Diplomacy programs at Harvard University, UCLA, Columbia University, the University of Chicago and George Washington University
  • Volunteers regularly to deliver financial literacy education to kids locally with CPA Canada or Junior Achievement
  • She also worked as a Teaching Assistant for U of T from 2006-2010
