Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and to ensure that all students can equitably access the program, the University of Toronto Mississauga's Academic Culture and English Program (ACE@UTM) will be delivered online only, until further notice. The delivery mode for Fall-Winter ACE@UTM 2021-22 will be determined by mid-Summer 2021.

The Fall-Winter ACE@UTM program occurs once per week on Saturday mornings from September until April. Students taking the Fall-Winter ACE@UTM program are permitted to take a maximum of 3.0 academic credits at the University of Toronto Mississauga (1.5 in the Fall and 1.5 in the Winter) while completing the Academic English Level 60 language course part-time throughout the Fall-Winter academic year.

In order to pass the program, and clear the condition on their offer of admission, students need to achieve a B or higher in Academic English Level 60, and achieve a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 1.50 or higher in their UTM courses.

Program Length: Part-time, 24 weeks
Program Dates: September 11, 2021 - April 2, 2022
Program Fees: $5,525 CAD

The ACE@UTM program fee does not cover university fees, such as tuition. Students enroled in UTM undergraduate courses are also responsible for their tuition fee payments according to the fee schedule.

LAUNCH Your Success!

To accelerate your success in ACE@UTM, you are encouraged to enrol in U of T Mississauga's LAUNCH program when it is time to choose courses on ACORN.

This opportunity helps you transition into the university through weekly interactive sessions with an upper year student mentor. It is designed to help you develop the skills you need to succeed in a supportive environment. Students will also earn a U of T notation on their Co-Curricular Record, which tracks all of your non-academic accomplishments at U of T. It is also free of charge, has no grades, tests, or assignments and can be completed in addition to your 3.0 academic credits. If you would like to learn more about LAUNCH, or have any questions, feel free to reach out to trent.barwick@utoronto.ca.
